Our Story
Born from a frustrating personal experience, built to solve a universal problem.
It started with a baseball jersey.
A software engineer and passionate baseball player had a clear vision for his team's uniforms — a specific cut, a particular fabric, exact colors, the right stitching on the numbers. Nothing generic. Something his team would actually be proud to wear on the diamond.
So he went looking. But finding a manufacturer willing to produce exactly what he had in mind turned into months of frustration. Emails back and forth. Misunderstood specifications. Samples that came back wrong. Revisions that ignored the feedback. The root of every problem was the same: there was no single, clear document that captured everything the manufacturer needed to get it right the first time. There was no tech pack.
He eventually got his jerseys — but it took far longer and cost far more than it ever should have. He came away with one burning question: why is there no simple tool that lets anyone create a proper tech pack without needing a degree in fashion production?
He shared his annoyance and frustration with his friends. Engineers and problem-solvers at heart, they decided to fill this gap themselves. Not a tool for fashion insiders who already know the jargon, but a tool for anyone who has a clear product vision and just needs the right way to communicate it to the people who will bring it to life.
That is how Kaprazo was born.
